Corten

Corten or Weathering steel is a group of steel alloys which were developed to eliminate the need for painting and form a stable rust-like appearance after several years’ exposure to weather. Will form a rust patina & not rust any further.

RAW mild steel

Raw mild steel is unpainted steel & will rust but, can be treated to form number of different finished.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. Unlike conventional liquid paint which is delivered via an evaporating solvent, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured by heat in an oven. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. (available a number of different colours)

Ultimately the courier service is responsible for your item’s safe delivery. Salt Metal Art has no control over delivery times, lost parcels, or delays by courier service you have selected on checkout.

We ship Australia wide via courier service.  (Customers must include a phone number as courier service requires one)

How can I find out postage?

• Just add items to the cart
• Open the shopping cart. Click proceed to check out
• Once you enter a valid address courier services list and pricing will appear

Is pickup available from Bendigo?

The pickup is displayed if your billing address is within a 50 km radius of Bendigo. (pickup is available 2-3 days after purchase)

Stock levels a shown on the product page see image below.

When no stock is available it will indicate “Available on Backorder”. If you place a backorder  it takes 4-6 days to be manufactured Raw items and 6-9 days for powder coated items. If you require the item in a particular time frame please contact us first before placing a order. Available for Backorder is indicated on the product page as in the image below.
